When Dennis and I were first married and still at BYU we enjoyed doing things at the campus craft shop. The main thing we did was to purchase pre-formed pottery, clean it, have it fired, paint it, etc. We generally used the finished items as gifts. Dennis was strong enough to handle mugs, so he made those. I remember he made an entire set for my family and they used them for years. I generally did larger items. We really had fun. The pitcher and basin were Grandma Deans for years and then Heather had them a while. They came home to me today. I never could part with the clown.
