Macrame

There was a time when macrame was very popular and a lady in our ward approached me to see if I knew how to do this craft. I did, so she wondered if I would be interested in working for her. She had several people making items for her in their homes which she would then sell to various places. She would bring the patterns and supplies and pay by the piece when you finished. It sounded like a fun way to make some extra money and so I worked for her for awhile. I don't where all of my things ended up, but I did see some of them in a couple of local places, one of them was a restaurant named Rax's which is no longer here. I hadn't been working for her for very long when she moved and didn't give me any more work, but I really enjoyed it while it lasted.
